After garnering an unbeaten record through their first eight meets, the Yale women's swimming team took their first losses Saturday against archrivals Harvard and Princeton. The Bulldogs have two dual meets remaining before they will face the Crimson and the Tigers at the Ivy Championships.
The Bulldogs fell to Harvard 229-90 and to Princeton 192-127. Harvard defeated Princeton 203-116 to remain unbeaten for the season.
Yale's standout of the meet was sophomore Moira McCloskey, who was one of two Yale first place finishers of the weekend. She finsihed first in both the 100 Backstroke and the 200 Backstroke. Sophomore Meg Gill tied for first in the 50 Freestyle with Harvard.
The meet was the final home contest for Yale's Class of 2005, who next look to improve their record next Friday against when they travel to Brown.
