Princeton and Harvard Slip by Bulldogs

Cambridge, MA - The Yale women's swim team wrapped up competition today at the dual Harvard-Princeton meet, which was hosted by Harvard. Harvard defeated Princeton 203 to 116. Harvard also defeated Yale 252 to 67. Princeton had 231 points to Yale's 88.

In the 100 free, Alexis Mann '09 came in sixth place, clocking in at 53.02.

Moira McCloskey '08 swam to second in the 200 back with a time of 2:00.91.

Marilee Kiernan '09 was fifth in the 200 breast in 2:23.26. Kirsten Cartoski '08 captured sixth in 2:25.01.

In the 100 fly, Liz Berger '08 came in sixth in 58.07.

McCloskey also captured fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.15.

In the 400 free relay, the Yale "A" team of Mairen Foley '09, Christina Person '09, Chase Butler '08, and Katelyn Kane '07 came in sixth in 3:36.85.

The Elis will host Brown on Friday, Feb. 10 at home in New Haven.
