Although Yale ended competition at Thursday's Ivy League Championships with a win in the 400 Medley Relay, the Bulldogs found themselves in third place after the first day of competition at Princeton. The Bulldogs trailed both Princeton and Harvard.

The 400 Medley Relay team of Moira McCloskey, Caroline Stephenson, Becca Knicely and Meg Gill defeated Princeton's team by only a third of a second in the day's final event.

Yale's strongest individual performance on Thursday was by Melanie Loftus, who placed second in the 1 meter dive.

Competition continues both today and tomorrow at Princeton. Live results of competition will be posted by the Ivy League. For more information, please visit .
