Yale Finishes in 7th at Boston University Invitational

Boston, MA - Yale wrapped up the Boston University Invitational with a seventh place finish behind 391.5 points Sunday at Boston University.

On the final day, junior Sara Fracapane finished in 5th place to earn Yale 14 points in the 1650-yard freestyle. Sophomore Laura Grigereit placed in 9th in this race to earn the Bulldogs 9 points.

Senior Caroline Dowd earned Yale 15 points in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 4th place finish.

In the 200-yard butterfly, junior Blake Walsh earned 9 points with a 9th place finish. Freshman Kristin Darwin and sophomore Katelyn Kane earned Yale a combined 6 points with 13th and 15th place finishes, respectively.

In the 400-yard freestyle relay, the Yale `A' team finished in 8th place. Freshman Becca Stern, freshman Angela Yu, Grigereit, and Dowd earned Yale 22 points with a time of 3:37.36. Also in this race, the Yale `B' team finished 10th place. Kane, senior Nicole Swaney, sophomore Andrea Clifford, and freshman Annie Killian earned Yale 14 points with a time of 3:38.77.
