Fairfax, Va. - With 473 points, the Yale women's swimming team maintained its second-place standing at the Patriot Invite at George Mason.
Yale placed second in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:47.48 and in the 800-yard freestyle in 7:42.61. Two individuals also garnered runner-up finishes: Caroline Stephenson in the 400-yard individual medley in 4:34.06 and Moira McCloskey in 57.53 in the 100-yard backstroke.
Nicole Swaney placed third in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:54.77.
Duke leads the competition with 608 points. UNC-Wilmington is third with 387.
