Yale Finishes Day One Of The U.S. Open

The Bulldogs lone women's swimmer at the U.S. Open, junior Moira McCloskey, finished 13th in the 200-meter backstroke thanks to a time of 2:20.72.

McCloskey is competing against a number of U.S. Olympic swimmers and high-profile international stars at James E. Martin Aquatics Center in Auburn, Ala. Approximately 600 athletes are registered for the meet.

Tomorrow the following men's and women's events will take place: 100-meter backstroke, 200-meter freestyle, 100-meter butterfly, 400-meter individual medley and the 400-meter medley relay.
