Bulldogs Finish Day Two Of U.S. Open

Yale junior Moira McCloskey, finished 21st in the 100-meter backstroke (1:06.67) on the second day of the U.S. Open.

McCloskey, Yale's lone women's swimmer at the meet, is competing against a number of U.S. Olympic swimmers and high-profile international stars at James E. Martin Aquatics Center in Auburn, Ala. Approximately 600 athletes are registered for the meet.

Tomorrow the following men's and women's events will take place: 100-meter freestyle, 200-meter breaststroke, 200-meter butterfly and the 400-meter freestyle relay. The women's 800-meter freestyle and the men's 1500-meter freestyle will also take place.
