Yale was named among the top academic women's swimming teams in the nation by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The Bulldogs had a team GPA of 3.38, the 13th best in Division I.
Head coach Frank Keefe's young squad, which included 8 freshmen and 7 sophomores, enjoyed another successful season in 2004-05. Yale finished with a 9-3 overall record, good for 4th in the Ivy League. The Lady Bulldogs were the only Ivy league School ranked in the Top 25 by the Coaches Association.
