Righi, Dominski Compete at Olympic Trials

OMAHA, Neb. - Alex Righi and Emily Dominski began competition at the Olympic Trials Monday with their respective 100-meter backstroke races.
In his first of three races at the Olympic Trials, Righi came up just short of qualifying for the semi-finals by coming in 22nd with a time of 55.85 in the men's 100-meter backstroke. Righi will compete in both the 100-meter freestyle and 50-meter freestyle later this week at the Olympic Trials.
Incoming freshman Dominski came in 111th in the women's 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:05.48. Dominski also will race in the 100-meter freestyle and 50-meter freestyle later this week.
