Stephanie Kent will join Yale this season after spending her freshman season playing for Cornell.  The sophomore will be a member of Silliman College upon coming to Yale.  This past summer Kent and Yale junior Stevi Petrelli won the Cornell Summer ITA doubles tournament defeating two blue chip partners in the final 8-5.  

At Cornell: Won her Cissie Leary Invitational singles draw without dropping a set as well as her Cissie Leary Invitational doubles draw with doubles partner Natalia Sanchez...finalized at the USTA NTC Women's College Tennis Tournament...competed in the ITA East Regional Championships in both singles and doubles...won flight 1 of the Cornell Invitational without dropping a record on team of 21-13 at No. 1 and No. 2 singles...received Cornell MVP award at end of the season...

Prior to College: While competing in the New England section of the USTA, earned No. 1 ranking in the 12's and 14's...competed in Poland, Argentina, Panama, Canada, Jamaica, and Saint Maarten for junior ITFs...won doubles of the Bahamas ITF Junior Internationals in 2006...finalized in the doubles of the Bank of Bermuda ITF Junior Internationals in 2006...qualified for 10K Futures in Mexico and Spain in 2007 and 2008....born in Mt. Kisco, NY...lived in Fairfield, Conn., Washington Depot, Conn., Wesley Chapel, Fla....
