Brook Earns Unanimous First Team All-Ivy Singles Selection
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Sophomore Vicky Brook (London, England) earned a unanimous First Team All-Ivy Singles selection after posting a 17-4 spring record that included a 5-1 record in the Ivy League.
Brook also teamed up with junior Lindsay Clark (Bernardsville, N.J.) for a Second Team All-Ivy Doubles selection. Senior Jessica Rhee (Dayton, Ohio) rounded out Yale's post-season honors with a Second Team All-Ivy Singles selection.
Brook posted a 24-7 overall record for the year that included a 17-4 spring record. She went 5-1 in Ivy League play including a 5-0 record at No. 1 singles.
Brook and Clark went 4-3 in the Ivy League at No. 1 doubles and posted an 11-9 spring record. The duo went 15-12 for the year.
Rhee, who has earned All-Ivy singles honors during all four of her seasons at Yale, posted a 6-1 record in the Ivy League at the No. 3 singles slot. Rhee went 22-13 for the year and 15-7 for the spring season.
Yale's All-Ivy performers were a major reason for the team's success. The Bulldogs posted a 16-6 overall record and a 5-2 record in the Ivy League. Yale's impressive resume this season included a national ranking as high as No. 24 and an ECAC Indoor Championship.
