Brook, Clark Open All-American Championship Qualifying With Win

New Haven, Conn. – Vicky Brook and Lindsay Clark defeated Ohio State's Cameron Hubbs and Kelsey Haviland in the opening round of doubles qualifying at the 2010 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Cal.

Junior Brook and senior Clark teamed up to down the Buckeye duo 8-4 Tuesday morning.  The pair will face off on Wednesday against Stanford's Carolyn McVeigh and Stacey Tan, who also won their opening match 8-4.  If the Yale duo wins Wednesday's match, the team will advance to the main draw of the Championships.

In Tuesday's singles qualifying action, Brook fell to South Florida's Irene Rehberger 6-4, 7-5.  Rehberger is the No. 8 overall seed among the 64-player qualifying field.
