HANOVER, N.H. - Junior Vicky Brook and senior Lindsay Clark made history Tuesday afternoon, winning the doubles final of the 2010 USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championships at Dartmouth's Boss Tennis Center. This is the first time a Yale team has qualified for the ITA National Indoor Championships. As the No. 2 seed, Brook and Clark knocked off the No. 1-seeded Princeton team of Hilary Bartlett and Taylor Marable 8-3 for the win.

"I'm so excited for Lindsay and Vicky," said Yale head coach Danielle McNamara. "They played really well throughout the entire tournament and earned their way into one of the most prestigious events in college tennis.  We've worked incredibly hard at our doubles as a team and it has showed in their level of play this entire fall season.  It's an honor to have Yale Women's Tennis represented at National Indoors and I'm looking forward to seeing them compete against some of the best teams in the country."

The win would gives Brook and Clark a berth in the ITA National Indoor Championships, to be held Nov. 4-7 at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.
