NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After winning two consecutive matches, the No. 40 Yale Bulldogs (6-2) will attend this year's ECAC Division I Indoor Team Championship at Princeton this weekend. The Bulldogs have been seeded No. 2 in the tournament, behind No. 1 Princeton. Yale will play its first match against No. 7 Columbia on Friday morning at 11:30a.m.
If Yale wins the first match, it will play the winner of No. 3 Harvard and No. 6 Cornell. If Yale were to lose, it would play the loser of the two.

Scouting the Competition
The Columbia women have yet to drop a match this spring, posting an undefeated 5-0 record. The Lions have defeated Fairleigh Dickinson (7-0), St. John's (6-1), Stony Brook (5-2), East Tennessee State (5-2) and Rutgers (4-3). However, Columbia has yet to face a ranked opponent, let alone one as highly ranked as Yale.
Two years ago, the Bulldogs won the 2009 ECAC Division I Championship at Dartmouth, as the No. 1 seeds. As the first seed, Yale received a bye in the first round, and only had to win two matches to secure the championship. Last year, the Bulldogs entered the tournament as the No. 3 seed, and captured the title once again in three matches. Yale defeated Dartmouth 4-0 in the finals, after beating Boston University in the first round and Harvard in the semifinals.
Yale looks for a third consecutive victory this weekend.
