NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thursday, the Ivy League announced the results of the All-Ivy voting for the 2011-12 season, with Yale leading the league in selections.

The voting, which is done by the head coaches of the league, resulted in multiple Yale selections on both the first and second teams.

Junior Elizabeth Epstein was the Yale representative on the singles side of the First All-Ivy Team.  Epstein went 18-7 over the course of the season with a 5-2 mark in the Ivy League.  Epstein topped three of her fellow first teamers in Brown's Misia Krasowski, Dartmouth's Sarah Leonard, and Penn's Agustina Sol Eskenazi, who also won Rookie of the Year honors.  The pairing of senior Vicky Brook and freshman Amber Li was also First Team All-Ivy.  The duo went 4-2 within the Ivy League and 6-2 overall after they started playing together in a March 28 match against Quinnipiac.  The two highlights of the season for Brook and Li were victories over fellow first teamers Sarah O'Neil and Lauren Frazier from Cornell, ranked No. 45 at the time, and a win over No. 40 Hilary Bartlett and Lindsay Graff of Princeton.

On the second team, Yale was represented by sophomore Blair Seideman in singles and the pairing of Epstein and sophomore Annie Sullivan in doubles.  Seideman went 18-8 for the season, but finished on a nine-match winning streak that includes every Ivy League match and a 13-1 run overall.  Seideman moved between playing at No. 2 and No. 3 all season, ending up at No. 2, where she won her final six matches of the season.  On the doubles side, Epstein and Sullivan set the pace for the Bulldogs.  Yale as a whole won 21 of its 22 doubles points, and the duo of Epstein and Sullivan matched that result, going 20-1 with one non-finished match.  The one loss the team had was against Miami, also the only time Epstein and Sullivan fell.  Epstein and Sullivan went undefeated in Ivy League play, though they did not face any fellow All-Ivy pairings.
