NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. – Monday, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center Invitational wrapped up for the Yale women's tennis team as freshman Madeleine Hamilton and sophomore Amber Li fell in the championship.

Hamilton and Li had played their way into the final of the top doubles draw with three wins, but the fourth would prove to be a tougher win.  Matched up against Princeton's Lindsay Graff and Amanda Mulianwan, the Yale duo fell 8-3.  Both sides boasted a sophomore (Li for Yale, Graff for the Tigers), as well as a freshman, and could be the first of many matches between the Ivy League rivals.

Yale will be back in action October 19th for the ITA Regional Championships, and will take a weekend off from play in the interim.
