NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale women's tennis team followed up their big win over Columbia with an excellent 4-0 victory over Cornell to clinch a sweep of their weekend series and move to 3-0 in Ivy League play.

Doubles set the tone for what would be a day dominated by the home team. Raissa Lou and Samantha Martinelli opened with a 6-3 win, followed by Caroline Amos and Kathy Wang, who won 6-4 to clinch the doubles point. Caroline Dunleavy and Jessie Gong finished their match at four games all.

The Bulldogs only needed three matches of singles play to seal the victory; Dunleavy, Martinelli and Amy Yang each dropped just three games and won in straight sets to clinch the win over the Big Red. Gong, Lou, and Wang had all claimed the first sets of their matches before play finished.

The Bulldogs will look to keep the momentum going into their Harvard-Dartmouth road trip next weekend and will attempt to preserve their perfect Ivy League record.
