Bulldogs Fall to Syracuse 4-3

Syracuse, NY - The Yale women's tennis team suffered a loss last night to Syracuse, 4-3. The Bulldogs fell to 0-1 after losing their spring season opener in Syracuse.

Freshman Jessica Rhee won at No. 2 singles 6-3, 2-6, 6-0 over Maria Vasilyeva of Syracuse. Senior Olivia Nix and sophomore Lilian Nguyen also won at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively. Yale lost the doubles point and came up a point short of the victory as a result.

Yale stays in Syracuse to play No. 32 Maryland today.
