Yale Falls to Cal State Northridge 5-2

Northridge, CA - Yale (3-7) dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 75 Cal State Northridge (9-2) Monday. Junior Janet Kim and freshman Lindsay Clark won matches for the Bulldogs in the loss.

Despite an 8-6 victory from sophomore Jessica Rhee and Clark at No. 1 doubles, the Bulldogs lost the doubles point with close defeats at both No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.

At No. 1 singles, Kim cruised to a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Victoria Brymer. Clark took care of Canna Furuta in straight sets 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

The Bulldogs will conclude their spring trip with a match against Loyola Marymount University Tuesday.
