Bulldogs Fall in Ivy Opener, 5-2 at Penn

Philadelphia, PA - The No. 58 University of Pennsylvania women's tennis team defeated Yale, 5-2, on Friday at the Lott Tennis Courts. The Quakers won the doubles point and took the final four singles matches in the win.Yale now has a 9-4 record and a 0-1 record in Ivy play.
In singles action, Reshmi Srinath claimed the No. 1 spot, winning in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. Rashmee Patil also won in straight sets at No. 2 singles 6-1, 7-6.
Penn swept all three doubles matches.
The Elis continue Ivy play in Princeton on Sat., Apr. 9.
