Srinath and Patil Win First Round Matches in Three Sets Each

Six Yale tennis players participated in the 2003 ITA Regional Championships, with three advancing to the second round. Reshmi Srinath and Rashmee Patil both won three-set matches, while Christine Alford plays her first match today after a first-round bye.
Three Bulldogs fell in long three-set matches in the first round. Ashley Martin, Karlyn Martin, and Stephanie White were all defeated.
Christine Alford recieved a first round bye and will play her first match today in the regional championships, held at Virginia Tech.
