Bulldogs Earn All-Academic Team Honors from ITA

July 22, 2005

Both Yale tennis teams have been honored by the ITA as All-Academic teams, and 10 Bulldogs have been selected for individual All-Academic honors as Scholar-Athletes. The list includes six members of the men's team -- Andrew Arons, Matthew Feldman, Milosz Gudzowski, Chris Lawler, Ryan Murphy and William Vidal -- and four women: Aimee Kim, Olivia Nix, Reshmi Srinath and Stephanie White.

In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must be a varsity letter winner, have a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the academic year and have been enrolled at their school for at least two semesters.

The team award is open to any ITA program that has a cumulative team GPA of 3.20 or above. All eligible student-athletes whose names appear on the eligibility form and have competed in one or more varsity matches must average into the GPA for the academic year.
