NOVATO, Calif. - Yale head coach Danielle Lund McNamara coached the Girl's 18 New England National Team to a seventh place finish at the USTA Girl's 18 National Team Championships in Novato, Calif. from Jul. 29 to Aug. 1
In the USTA Girl's 18 National Team Championships, all sixteen sections of the USTA send their top six or seven players to compete. McNamara coached the New England Team, a team that she played on as a junior.
McNamara led the New England Team to victories over Hawaii and the Mid-Atlantic to earn seventh place.
"I had a great time coaching the New England national team," McNamara said. "The girls were so nice, hard working and a pleasure to be around. I was honored that USTA New England asked me to coach this team and represent our section on a national level."
