College Park, MD - The Yale women's tennis team wrapped up an intense three days of competition on Sunday. Olivia Nix '06 won the C flight finals. Ashley Miles '09 won the B flight consolation finals, and Christina Cutter '09 won the C flight consolation finals.
Lillian Nguyen '09 played Bianca Selaru in the consolation round of the D flight. Selaru won the match in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.
Miles won the B flight consolation round, defeating Neda Mlhneva 6-4, 3-6, 10-6.
Cutter defeated Jennifer Dent in the semifinal round of the C flight consolation draw. Cutter triumphed 6-4, 6-4. Cutter went on to play Natalia Prinze, defeating Prinze 2-6, 6-3, 6-1.
In the C flight finals, Nix was scheduled to play Anastaysiya Duboya. Due to injury, Dubova was unable to play and Nix won the final.
The Elis continue play on Saturday, October 8 in New York City at the USTA Team Invitational.
