NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Junior Kate Grace received first-team All-Ivy honors for the 2010 outdoor track season. The Ivy League announced the 2010 honorees on Monday following the Heptagonal Championships this past weekend. Grace won the 800-meter run at the Ivy League Championships for the second year in a row.
Grace (Santa Monica, Calif.) won the 800-meter run on Sunday in 2:08.17. Grace also received first-team All-Ivy recognition last spring in the outdoor season, and in both 2009 and 2010 indoors. She has received All-East honors for her performances both indoor and outdoor in the 800-meter run, and last March earned All-American honors at the NCAA Championships. Grace's best time this season (2:07.03) meets the provisional qualifying time for NCAA Regionals, which will take place May 28-29 in Greensboro, N.C.
