Pair of Bulldogs Compete at ECACs

Donnelly, Snajder Get Yale Started on Day One

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Bulldogs opened competition on Friday at the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships. Only two Yale athletes competed on the meet's first day, with the rest to come tomorrow.

Junior Jennifer Donnelly ran a personal best in the 10,000-meter run (37:29.57) to take 22nd. Donnelly bettered her qualifying time by over three seconds.

Sophomore Amanda Snajder currently sits in 13th in the heptathlon (2496 points) with four events scored. Snajder's best finish came in the 100-meter hurdles, where she placed seventh (15.31). She was 13th in the 200-meter dash (27.71), 14th in the high jump (1.49m – 4'10.5") and 12th in the shot put (8.49m – 27'10.25").
