NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The second day of competition at the Giegengack Invitational in Coxe Cage resulted in numerous top five finishes for the Bulldogs, including two NCAA provisional qualifying marks.
A week after qualifying for nationals in the 3,000-meter run, Lindsay Donaldson continued to impress with a provisional qualifying time in the one-mile run, taking second (4:45.40) behind Georgetown's Maggie Infeld (4:43.14).
Molly Lederman won the pole vault (4.00 meters) and hit the NCAA provisional qualifier of 3.95 meters. Ashley Nolet was fourth (3.60 meters). In other field events, Olakitan Awolesi and Dionna Thomas were second (11.88 meters) and third (11.63 meters) in the triple jump, while Margo Angelopoulos was third in the shot put (12.96 meters).
Ingrid Sproll won the 1,000-meter run in 2:56.95, good enough for 10th fastest in school history.
Georgetown's Nana Hanson-Hall hit the NCAA provisional qualifier in the 800-meter run while winning in 2:07.76. Kristin Farley was fifth with 2:14.15.
