PRINCETON, N.J. - Yale was unable to beat Princeton (66.5 points) and Harvard (53 points), scoring 39.50 points Saturday afternoon at Jadwin Gym.
Lindsay Donaldson and Katrina Castille were Yale's sole winners for the day. Castille won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.93, while Donaldson won the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:38.02 and the mile with a time of 4:50.75.
In the field events, Olakitan Awolesi was able to take third in the long jump and triple jump with distances of 5.33 and 11.43 meters. Jennifer Lin tied for fourth in the high jump at a height of 1.55 meters.
Kristin Baxivanos, Lin, and Katherine Dlesk took second, third and fourth in the 60-meter hurdles with times of 9.43, 9.79 and 9.95. Courtney Miller was fourth in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.00. Rounding out the sprints was a second and fourth place effort by Jessica Pall and Dlesk. Pall's time was 58.07, while Dlesk ran 59.02. Pall was also third in the 200-meter dash (25.84).
Other top four placings include Meredith Leenhouts coming in fourth in the 800-meter run (2:18.23) and the 4x400 and 4x800-meter relays taking second with times of 3:52.95 and 9:17.39.
