Relay Breaks School Record as Yale Finishes Seventh at Heps

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The Bulldogs finished the meet in seventh place with 40 points. Cornell took the title with a decisive 159 points, over double the total of any other competitor. Lindsay Donaldson was the sole winner for the day, taking the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:33.39.

Meredith Leenhouts was seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:12.06.

In the triple jump, Olakitan Awolesi was third with a distance of 12.11 meters, moving her up to third on Yale's all-time list.

In the 4x400-meter relay, the Bulldogs were fourth with a time of 3:48.92, breaking the previous school record of 3:51.33 set in 1999. The 4x800-meter relay team finished in second with a time of 8:54.09, good for fourth on the all-time list.

The Bulldogs will be back in action next weekend at ECAC's.
