Duncan Breaks School Record First Day of ECAC Championship

BOSTON, Mass. - The Bulldogs finished the first day of competition with zero points at the Annual ECAC Track and Field Championship at Northeastern University's Reggie Lewis Center. Claudia Duncan broke the school record and qualified for finals in the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:15.12. The old record was 1:15.97 set by S. Backus in 2000.
The 4x800-meter relay team narrowly missed qualifying for finals, running a time of 9:11.49 and finishing 11th overall. In the 4x400-meter relay, the top nine qualify and the Bulldogs finished ninth with a time of 3:50.49, qualifying them for finals.
