Yale won seven events as the women's track team uncharacteristically teamed up with usual nemesis Harvard to defeat Cambridge and Oxford 12-6 in Boston.
Joslyn Woodard and Margo Angelopoulos each won two events for the American squad. Woodard took first in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12:09 and also won the long jump with a distance of 5.96 meters.
Angeloupolos threw for a 12.57-meter victory in the shot put, and added a hammer throw win with a distance of 43:20 meters.
Yale's other first place finishers were Lindsay Donaldson in the 5000 meter run (16:29.70), Erica Davis with a 40.53 meter performance in the discus throw, and Anne Martin, who won the steeplechase in 10:42.20.
