NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale hosted Penn and Princeton for the annual tri-meet on the DeWitt-Cuyler track Saturday afternoon. On a rainy day, the Bulldogs finished third, behind the first-place Tigers and second-place Quakers.
Sophomore Kate Grace won the 400-meter dash for the Bulldogs in 57.03 seconds, which is less than a second over ECAC qualifying standards.
Senior captain Jennifer Lin ran the 400-meter hurdles in 1:04.56 for a strong first-place finish.
Yale did not compete in every event and some of the athletes who competed Friday at the biennial Yale-Harvard vs. Oxford-Cambridge meet did not compete again on Saturday.
Next Saturday the Bulldogs will travel to Cambridge, Mass., for the annual Harvard-Yale dual meet.
