Bulldogs Fall to Harvard 82-80

April 19, 2004

Joslyn Woodard won the 100- and 200-meter dashes as well as the long jump, but the Elis could not edge out Harvard and fell by two points in Cambridge.

Harvard dominated the throwing events, and although the Elis did well in sprinting and jumping contests, they were unable to overcome an early deficit.

Lisa Wygant earned first place in the high jump, with Molly Lederman continuing her dominance in the pole vault this season with a first place victory.

Woodard added to her first place finishes with a role in the 4x100 relay race, comprised also of Katrina Castille, Aisha Cort, and Candace Arther.

The Elis will split their team next week, with some members heading to the Penn Relays and others staying home for the Yale Invitational.
