Donaldson and Woodard Finish 19th at NCAA Championship

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bulldogs were represented by Lindsay Donaldson and Joslyn Woodard Wednesday afternoon at the NCAA Division I 2006 Outdoor Track & Field Championship, which is currently taking place at Cal State Sacramento's Alex G. Spanos Sports Complex. Both finished 19th in their respective events, the 5,000-meter run and long jump. Competition ends Saturday.

Joslyn Woodard capped her senior season by earning her 19th place finish in the nation with a jump of 6.13 meters. The leading mark going into finals was by Rhonda Watkins of UCLA with a distance of 6.56 meters.

Lindsay Donaldson ended up 19th overall with a time of 16:27.31. She finished sixth in this event last year. Mary Cullen of Providence is the leader going into finals with a time of 16:05.12.

Molly Lederman will compete in the pole vault on Thursday.
