Yale Athletes Named to All-Ivy Teams

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Seniors Olakitan Awolesi and Lindsay Donaldson received a total of three All-Ivy awards due to their finishes at the Heptagonal Championships, held on March 1st at Cornell University. Awards are distributed to athletes based solely on their finish at the Heptagonal Championships.
Awolesi received 2nd team All-Ivy honors for her second-place finish in the long jump, where she leapt 19-01.25, which also moved her up to fifth on the all-time list for the indoor long jump.
Donaldson received both 1st and 2nd team honors for her victory in the 3,000-meter run and second place finish in the 5,000-meter run. Donaldson ends her indoor Ivy League career with three 1st team accolades (victories in the 3,000-meter run her freshman, junior and senior year) and three 2nd team honors (a second place finish in the mile-run her sophomore year and consecutive second place finishes in the 5,000-meters her junior and senior year).
