After winning two of three matches this weekend, the Bulldogs will take to the road for the first time this season.
Yale will travel to College Park, Md., to face Maryland, Delaware and Sacred Heart at the Spring Hill Suites at Arundel Mills Invitational. The Bulldogs' weekend begins against host Maryland of the Atlantic Coast Conference on Friday at 7 p.m.
For the second time in their first four matches, Yale will face a team from the ACC. Last Friday, the Bulldogs opened the season with a 3-1 over Boston College in New Haven.
Sophomore Kendall Polan earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors after her co-MVP performance last weekend at the Yale Invitational. Polan barely missed a triple double in against B.C., and tallied 33 of Yale's 36 assists in a sweep of Colgate.
In the final match last weekend, Yale lost 3-1 to the PAC 12's Utah. Despite the loss, the Bulldogs might have played their best overall match of the young season.
Rogers, a freshman, made an immediate impact in her Yale debut with team-highs in two matches last weekend. Reetz reached double-digits in kills in the matches against Boston College and Utah.
Maryland (3-3) opened 2011 with three straight losses, but rebounded last weekend to sweep three matches. Freshman Ashleigh Crutcher received tournament MVP honors as the Terps swept the Maryland Invitational with wins over VCU, Quinnipiac and Xavier.
On Saturday, the Bulldogs will face Delaware (1-6) at 10 a.m. The Blue Hens have already faced four ranked teams (Stanford, Oregon, Northern Iowa and Florida State) in its first seven matches.
Sacred Heart (6-1) defeated UConn on Tuesday night. The Pioneers have won six in a row, including a 3-0 win over Brown last Friday.
