After five straight home wins to begin the Ivy League season, the Bulldogs travel to Princeton and Penn this weekend.
The Bulldogs face Princeton (11-6, 4-1 Ivy) on Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, Yale plays Penn at 5 p.m.
Last weekend, the Bulldogs swept matches against Dartmouth and Harvard. For the second week in a row, a Bulldog won Ivy League Player of the Week.
Senior captain Taylor Cramm hit .538 without an attack error in 26 attempts and posted a match-high nine kills in the 3-0 win over the Big Green. Last week, sophomore setter Kendall Polan won the conference award for the second time this season.
Despite the standout individual effort, the Bulldogs continue to spread the wealth on offense. Against Dartmouth, eight different Bulldogs had at least two kills. In the Harvard match, six different Bulldogs had at least two kills.
On defense, the Bulldogs rank among the best in the country. Yale ranks 7th in the country in digs per set (18.11).
Princeton lost its first Ivy match last weekend at Columbia in a 3-0 loss. The next day, they recovered with a 3-1 win at Cornell.
Penn, last year's Ivy NCAA qualifier, also split matches at Cornell and Columbia. Penn defeated Cornell, 3-1, and lost a five-setter at Columbia on Saturday.
Columbia and Princeton both stand 4-1 in conference -- one game behind Yale.
