Ashlie Case begins her first season on the Bulldogs' staff.
A former standout at Akron, Case was the 1998 Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year and set the school record for kills in a match (33). She finished her career in the top 10 in school history in digs per game (3.3) and kills per game (3.3).
Case was head coach of the Trumbull (OH) Volleyball Club from 1999-2002 and won the 18-Open Division East Coast championship in 2000. Case also coached in camps at Penn State, Juniata College and directed her own camp in Ohio last year.
A native of Austintown, Ohio, Case is a 2002 summa cum laude graduate of Akron and is currently pursuing her degree at Yale Law School.
