NEW HAVEN, Conn. - With the Yale volleyball team in control of its Ivy League fate this weekend, the Yale athletic department will provide students with a complimentary charter bus to the Bulldogs' Saturday afternoon match at Princeton. The bus will depart Payne Whitney Gymnasium at 1 p.m. on Saturday and will return to Payne Whitney immediately following the 4 p.m. match.
Yale (17-4, 11-1 Ivy) is in position to clinch the third Ivy League Championship in program history this weekend. The Bulldogs will meet Penn (12-11, 8-3 Ivy), the lone blemish on their 2008 Ivy League record, on Friday night at 7 p.m. before their Saturday showdown with the Tigers. A win at Princeton (16-3, 10-1 Ivy) will clinch at least a share of the Ivy League crown for Yale, while a weekend sweep will give the Bulldogs the outright title.
