Yale Runners Place Third in Great Meadow Invitational

Yale's women's cross country squad finished in third place at the Great Meadow Invitational at Georgetown University this weekend. Freshman runner Cara Kiernan was the Bulldogs' top finisher, placing 12th with a time of 19:02.11. Also in the top 20 were junior Anne Martin, placing 15th with a time of 19:20.93, and team captain Rebecca Hunter, finishing 17th at 19:28.56. Georgetown and Arkansas tied for first place in the race with 28 points each. The team will compete next in the Quinnipiac Invitational on September 26.
