HAMDEN, Conn. - Yale finished second Friday afternoon at the Quinnipiac Invitational with a total of 56 points. Meet host and 2006 NEC team champion Quinnipiac won the meet, scoring 16 points.

Sophomore Allyson Rinderle was the Bulldogs' top harrier for the day, running the 5,000-meter course in 19:02.9 and placing fifth overall. Senior track and field captain Elizabeth Calle was second for the team, finishing 10th (19:22.0). Yale's third finisher was senior middle distance standout Meredith Leenhouts, who finished 12th in a time of 19:31.5. Closing out the scoring five were junior Kelli Buck and sophomore Alexandra Cadicamo, who finished 14th (19:39.0) and 15th (19:42.3) respectively.

The Bulldogs will be back in action next Saturday at the Murray Keatinge Invitational in Orono, Maine.
