Yale Women Finish Sixth in Quinnipiac Invitational

The Yale Women's Cross Country team competed in the Quinnipiac Invitational meet on Saturday. The Bulldogs finished sixth overall with 154 points. Quinnipiac won the meet with a total of 41 points, followed by Columbia, Northeastern, Boston College, and Marist.

Freshman Kristin Farley was the first Yalie to cross the finish line, coming in fourth, with a time of 19:16.6. Another freshman, Kelli Buck finished 23rd.

Eli sophomore Kendall Becker came in 45th overall, with a final time of 20:31.0. Maureen Lloyd, sophomore came in 60th, followed by Kathryn Schleckser, freshman, and Katie Dewitt, junior. Rounding out the Yale showing was Karen Porter, sophomore, coming in 68th.

The total team time was 1:41:30.4. The cross country team has a busy weekend, racing both Friday and Saturday.
