Yale Runners Win ECAC Championship

With a total of 40 points, the women's cross country team won the ECAC Cross-Country Championships, held on Saturday in New York's Van Cortlandt Park. The Elis were led by Susan Chan, whose time of 18:19 earned her a fifth place overall finish.

Yale's other top finishers were Rebecca Hunter, who came in 6th place, Anne Martin, who finished 7th, and 9th-place finisher Emily Vince. Katie McKinstry earned a 13th place standing to round out Yale's top five runners.

Cara Kiernan, who qualified for the NCAA Championships last week, did not compete, but will run in Cedar Falls, Iowa on Monday.
