Katherine Miller Earns All-Ivy Honors

11-4 Record at Ivy League Championship

PROVIDENCE, R.I.—With a fourth-place finish in epee competition at the Feb. 8-9 Ivy League Championship, sophomore Katherine Miller of the Yale women's fencing team earned second team All-Ivy honors.

Miller posted an impressive set of bouts during the two-day round robin tournament, finishing with an 11-4 record and a 0.733 percentage. She was Yale's standout performer at a competition in which the Bulldogs faced tough competition and finished in seventh place.

Selections for the All-Ivy teams are based on winning percentages, and Miller joins just two others—Emma Vaggo and Isabel DiTella from Harvard—in being awarded second team All-Ivy honors.

For Miller, this weekend's result is a substantial improvement on her performance at last year's Ivy League Championship, where she finished in 10th place. She then went on to finish in eighth place in epee competition at the NCAA Northeast Regional.

Miller will be back in action when the Bulldogs return to competition at the Feb. 23 USAG Collegiate Nationals, hosted this year by Penn in Philadelphia.
