NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The ECAC today announced the Divison I gymnastics award winners for the week, and freshman Morgan Traina and junior Lindsay Andsager were among the winners for the second time this year. Traina was named ECAC Rookie of the Week for the second week in a row, and Andsager was named Specialist of the Week for the second time this season.

Traina competed all-around at the Bulldog Invitational last weekend and placed third with a career-high 38.475. She also scored a career-high 9.5 on the floor exercise. In addition, Traina scored a 9.5 on the vault with a yurchenko tuck-full to place eighth, a 9.725 on the balance beam to place third, and a 9.75 on bars to place third. Her scores all counted towards the season-high team total of 190.4.

Andsager received the Specialist of the Week award following her score of 9.85 on the uneven bars at the same meet. The score was a career-high for Andsager, and her first-place finish on the event helped the team to their highest collective bar score since 2003.
