Bulldogs Head to North Country

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale Bulldogs head north to take on two ranked teams in Clarkson and St. Lawrence in a big ECAC weekend.

Yale (9-10-4, 7-7-2 ECAC) dominated the month of January, going 6-1-0 in league play while outscoring opponents 19-7. Gianna Meloni dealt with the latter number, starting five games while going 5-0-0 with three shutouts. The first year goalie leads the ECAC in save percentage at .945 while ranking third with a 1.54 goals against average.

The Bulldogs are riding a four game win streak, defeating Harvard and Dartmouth at home last weekend by a combined 9-2 score. Mallory Souliotis and Julia Yetman each posted five points from the blue line in the two wins, while Greta Skarzynski scored in both games to bump her season total to a team-high 13 goals in 23 games. Tess Dettling scored her first career goal, while Rebecca Foggia earned her first point with an assist on Dettling's marker.

Yale battles St. Lawrence on Friday night at 6 p.m. before taking on Clarkson Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
