Bulldogs Welcome Catamounts This Weekend

The Elis close out the first half of the season with a two-game set against the University of Vermont (4-9-4, 3-7-2) this weekend at Ingalls Rink. The Bulldogs and the Catamounts will meet for just the eighth and ninth time since 2004 and for the first time since the 2016-17 season. In their seven previous matchups, Yale owns a 3-2-2 record against Vermont. Puck drop is slated for 2 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Both games are available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet (International).

The Yale women's hockey team dropped a pair of games to No. 2 Minnesota last weekend on home ice. Junior golatender Tera Hofmann turned in her second 40-game perfomance of the season in game two against the Gophers. First-year defenseman Tabea Botthof put the Bulldogs within striking range of Minnesota on Saturday with her second goal this season. Claire Dalton notched her first collegiate goal on Friday.

The Catamounts split a two-game series with Maine last weekend in Burlington, losing 2-1 on Friday and winning 3-2 on Saturday.

Senior Captain Emma Vlasic leads the Bulldogs in goals (5) and points (8), while sophomore forward Greta Skarzynski is tops in assists (5).
