NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Last weekend, the Yale women's soccer team played back-to-back games against Big East opponents. This weekend the Bulldogs will take their shot against a pair of America East teams. Yale hosts Vermont Friday at 7 p.m. at Reese Stadium and then travels to Boston University for a 2 p.m. kickoff on Sunday.

Yale (2-2-1) is coming off an impressive 2-0 victory over Quinnipiac on Tuesday. The Bulldogs limited the Bobcats to only six shots, none of which were on goal. It was Yale's third shutout of the season.

Vermont (2-3-2) will be playing its third straight Ivy opponent. The Catamounts lost to Dartmouth 2-1 in overtime on Sept. 8 and then tied Brown 1-1 on Sept. 10. UVM's six goals have been scored by six different players.

Yale and Vermont are playing for the first time since 1995. The Catamounts lead the all-time series 9-5

Boston University (6-2-1) also is an unfamiliar opponent. The last time the Bulldogs faced the Terriers was 2007. BU is coming off an impressive 3-0 victory over Harvard on Wednesday night. The Terriers also have a 2-0 victory over then No. 8 Portland and a 1-1 tie with then fourth-ranked Boston College on their resume.
