Final Game Before Start Of Ivy League Play
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Bulldogs have one more test before they open Ivy League play this weekend. The Bulldogs host Fairfield in a single game on Wednesday. The first pitch is slated for 2:30 p.m. ESPN+ has the video.
Yale is coming off a strong performance at the Florida Atlantic Tournament over the weekend. The Bulldogs won a pair of games, knocking off Stony Brook and LIU Brooklyn.
Junior Olivia Vinyard and first year Nic Conway were both named to the Ivy League Honor Roll on Monday for their performances over the weekend. Vinyard batted .375 with two home runs and four RBI. Conway tossed 15.2 innings in the circle and yielded only three earned runs. She pitched the first complete-game shutout of her career in Yale's 1-0 victory over LIU Brooklyn on Sunday.
The Stags (8-3) went undefeated at Stetson's Tournament over the weekend. Courtney Hankins was named the MAAC Player of the Week after batting .444 in the tournament.
