Piscataway, N.J.-- Representing Yale, divers Talbott Paulsen and McKenna Tennant competed in the preliminaries of the 3-meter dive at the NCAA Zone A Championships. Though not their best performances, they finished their respective 3-meter dive for the final time of the season.
Tennant finished 20th overall with a score of 248.15 points, 75.10 points away from the leader, University of Virginia's diver. Her teammate Paulsen finished 26th overall with a score of 240.40, 82.85 points away from the leader.
Paulsen and Tennant may have a chance to compete at the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships, which will take place starting Mar. 14. Selected divers will be announced Sunday, Mar. 11.
Next week, the NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships will take place in Columbus, Ohio, at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion from the 14th to the 17th of Mar. Swimmer Heidi Vanderwel will be representing Yale in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, and the 200-yard backstroke.
